Talking word processors, also known as TWP, is writing
software, which provides audio feedback as the student types. The program also
provides additional customized settings such as enlarged print, selection of
different voices and adjustment of the volume. TWP devices assist learners with
disabilities by reinforcing information that is typed, to be reciprocated
through audio reinforcements. An example of a TWP device is called
Write:Outloud, created by DJ, Inc.
